Allison & Erin Kate are professional writers with years of experience in teaching and designing workshops and literature courses.



Allison Wyss's stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Alaska Quarterly Review, [PANK] Magazine, the Southeast Review, Jellyfish Review, Booth, the Doctor T. J. Eckleburg Review, Juked, and elsewhere. She holds a BA from Vanderbilt and an MFA from the University of Maryland. Some of her ideas about the craft of fiction can be found in Reading Like a Writer, a monthly column she writes for the Loft Literary Center, where she also teaches classes. She's also hard at work on her first novel. It's a freaking beast.

Erin Kate Ryan's fiction has appeared in or is forthcoming from Glimmer Train, Conjunctions, Hayden's Ferry Review, and Copper Nickel, among others. Erin Kate holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars and a JD from Boston University. She's a 2016 Minnesota State Arts Board grantee, an occasional contributor to the Loft's Writers' Block blog, and has taught classes and workshops for over ten years, including at the Loft Literary Center.
